Farmingdale, N.Y. - In just their first year as a Varsity
squad, the Farmingdale State women's tennis team had two
student-athletes receive All-Conference honors. Junior Oshea Davis
(Hempstead, N.Y./Freeport) was named First Team All-Skyline and
sophomore Kate McEntee (Greenwich, Conn./Pomfrett) was named Second
Team All-Skyline for each of their efforts this season.
Davis went 7-1 this year for the Rams at first singles. She was named the Skyline Player of the week once and was seen on the Honor Roll once. She also finished 3-4 at second doubles, 4-4 overall in doubles.
McEntee went undefeated at third singles, while also going 6-2 in doubles with freshman teammate Jessica Gentile. McEntee was seen on the Skyline Player of the Week Honor Roll twice.
