Rams Dominate Second Half in Home Victory

Farmingdale (2-2) scored 48 points in the second after trailing 35-34 at halftime to take the 82-67 win over visiting New Jersey City (1-3). Sharon Billips (Brooklyn, NY/John Jay) led the Rams with 26 points, six rebounds and three steals. Freshman I’shawna West (Hempstead, NY/Hempstead) finished with 22 points, five rebounds and three steals.

Kristen Tong (Swanzey, NH/Monadnock Regional) tallied six assists for Farmingdale. Angela Williams (New York, NY/Murry Bergtraum) had 12 points and nine rebounds. Dankery Perez (Manhattan, NY/Manhattan Center) totaled nine points, five assists and seven steals.

For New Jersey City, Arnese Goodman (Jersey City, NJ/Lincoln) led with 18 points, while Megan Kabba (Newark, NJ/Arts) and Erika Cubile (Jersey City, NJ/Acad. of Saint Aloysius) added 14 points each.

The Rams host Manhattanville College in a Skyline Conference game on Saturday, December 4th at 1pm.
