The women’s basketball team faced Centenary College (4-11) on Saturday, January 29th and came home with a 87-78 conference victory, improving their record to 14-4 overall, 9-1 Skyline. Farmingdale’s I’shawna West (Hempstead, NY/Hempstead) scored a game-high 22 points, followed by Sharon Billips (Brooklyn, NY/John Jay) with 18 points and three blocks. Jenea Lockley (Roslyn, NY/Roslyn) finished with a double-double of 13 points and 18 rebounds for the Rams, along with a game-high four blocks.

Solaris Ortiz was the star for Centenary with 17 points and 17 rebounds, while Laura Feigus finished with 19 points and went 3-for-5 from three point range.

The Rams travel to Old Westbury on Tuesday, February 1st for a conference game at 7:00pm.
