The Rams lost 80-70 at the hands of 22nd ranked NYU in the semifinals of the ECAC Metro Tournament on Friday night, March 4th at the Coles Sports Center in New York, NY. Farmingdale finished the season with a 23-6 overall record, while eventual ECAC Metro Champion NYU moved onto the ECAC Metro Tournament final with a record of 22-5.

The Rams were not going down without a fight to the nationally ranked squad, trailing 40-38 at the half after hitting 7-of-16 from three-point land. The second half would not come as easily with Farmingdale shooting 9-for-30 with only one three, falling to NYU by ten points. Seniorís Sharon Billips (Brooklyn, NY/John Jay) and Taisha Roberts (New York, NY/Murry Bergtraum) led the Rams in scoring in their final career game. Billips totaled a game-high 22 points, seven rebounds and two blocks, while Roberts netted 12 points and sunk 5-of-6 free throws. Junior Kristen Tong (Swanzey, NH/Monadnock Regional) scored 15 points and had four steals.

Three players for NYU recorded double-doubles. Rachel Wojdowski (Bethel Park, PA/Bethel Park) and Katie Higier (Miami, FL/Miami Senior) , both scored 21 points, with Wojdowski adding 13 rebounds. Karen Bachman (Avon, CT/Avon) chipped in 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Stephanie Huhn (Toms River, NJ/Toms North) finished with 11 points and 11 boards.
