Sophomore forward Mercedes Miller (New York, NY/Manhattan Center) led Farmingdale State (6-5, 2-0 Skyline) with a game-high 23 points and a game-high 10 rebounds as the Rams defeated St. Joseph's (9-5, 1-1 Skyline) 90-48 tonight in a Skyline Conference match-up in Farmingdale, NY. Farmingdale State proved to be the stronger team as they took the lead for good with 10:06 left in the first half and never looked back.

Kendra Romain scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Rams. Senior Angela Williams (New York, NY/Murry Bergtraum) finished with 11 points and tied for a game-high 10 rebounds. I'shawna West (Hempstead, NY/Hempstead) added 13 point for the Rams.

St. Joseph's Kristen Mando (West Babylon, NY West Babylon) led the Golden Eagles with 19 points, along with eight rebounds, three assists and two steals. Nicole Palazzo (Medford, NY/Patchogue-Medford) led the rebounding with nine boards.

Farmingdale State hosts Merchant Marine on Thursday night for another Skyline Conference match-up starting at 7:00pm.
