Farmingdale State junior guard Christine Daley (Elmont, NY/Elmont) was named Skyline Player of the Week for women's basketball on Tuesday, January 9th. Daley earns the honor after helping Farmingdale State rally for a 67-64 victory over the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. Daley finished with a team-high 17 points and also shot 55.6 percent (5-for-9) from 3-point range. Her only two-point basket was a big one. The Rams rallied from a late six-point deficit and took the lead with 27 seconds left following a steal and basket from Daley.

Amongst the Skyline, Daley leads the conference in 3-pointers per game (3.27 per game) and is 9th in 3-point percentage (34.6%). She is also 4th in scoring with 14.9 points per game and 2nd in blocked shots with 1.36 per game.
Nationally (as of January 7th), Daley is ranked 7th among Division III players for 3-point field goals with 3.3 per game.
