Women Pick up 14th Win against CCNY

Farmingdale, N.Y. ? The Farmingdale State women's basketball team improved to 14-6 overall tonight with a 72-18 victory over CCNY (0-21) in Farmingdale, N.Y. Junior guard Christine Daley (Elmont, N.Y./Elmont) scored 17 points to lead the Rams, while junior guard Dankery Perez (New York, N.Y./Manhattan Center) scored 13 points and added five assists.

Farmingdale led 30-12 at the half and poured in 42 points in the second. Junior forward Jasmine Sistrunk (Brooklyn, N.Y./South Shore) was the third in double figures with 10 points.

Freshman forward Naomi Solano (Manhattan, N.Y./Aquinas) led the Beavers with nine points and 10 rebounds.

The Rams will travel to Purchase, N.Y. this weekend for a game against Manhattanville College on Saturday, February 10th at Noon.
