Sistrunk Posts Double Double in Win over Panthers

Farmingdale State - 74, Old Westbury - 56 

Farmingdale, N.Y. - Senior forward Jasmine Sistrunk (Brooklyn, N.Y./South Shore) posted a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds (11 offensive) to lead the Rams in a 74-56 conference victory over Old Westbury (7-12, 2-10) today in Farmingdale, N.Y. Farmingdale State is now 13-4, 11-1 in the Skyline.

Rams sophomore guard Kimberly Blakney (Brooklyn, N.Y./Benjamin Banneker) finished with 15 points, eight rebounds and seven steals. Senior center Mercedes Miller (New York, N.Y./Manhattan Center) had 10 points and nine rebounds.

Sophomore guard Pamela Robinson (Wheatley Heights, N.Y.) led the Panthers with 27 points and shot 13-of-14 from the free throw line.

Farmingdale State will host Polytechnic University on Wednesday, February 6th at 6:00 p.m.
