Kimberly Blakney Named Skyline Player of the Week

Lawrenceville, N.J. - Junior guard Kimberly
Blakney (Brooklyn, N.Y./Benjamin Banneker) was named the Skyline
Conference Player of the Week for women's basketball on Monday,
January 26th.
In three Skyline Conference road victories for Farmingdale State
College, the junior guard averaged 24.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 5.0
steals, 4.7 assists and 3.7 blocked shots. Blakney had 11 points,
12 rebounds, nine assists, eight steals and five blocks at Sage. In
a 72-56 win over Purchase, she finished with 26 points and six
rebounds. Blakney capped the week with a season-high 35 points at
Old Westbury.
