Smith Records First Career Double-Double in Rams Win

Farmingdale State - 70, Yeshiva - 35

Farmingdale, N.Y. - Freshman forward Tiara Smith (Amityville, N.Y./Copiague) recorded her first career double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds in a 70-35 victory over conference opponent Yeshiva. The Rams improved to 17-6 overall, 14-2 in the Skyline, while the Maccabees fell to 3-20, 0-16.

Farmingdale's leading scorer for the night was freshman guard Shemique Hooks (Westbury, N.Y./Westbury) with 21 points, six rebounds and eight steals. Junior guard Kamaya Miller (Brooklyn, N.Y./Midwood) posted 10 points and five steals in 12 minutes played.

Yeshiva was led by sophomore guard Shir Fuchs (Herzeliya, Israel/Hayovel) with nine points, while senior guard Tova Laufer (New York, N.Y./Ramaz) finished with eight points, five steals and two blocks.

The Rams will host Purchase on Wednesday, February 18th at 6:00 p.m. (women's) and 8:00 p.m. (men's). It will be "Senior Night" for Shaquasha Llopiz, Joe Cammarata, Davon Jackson, Damien Santana and Erastus Shannon.
