Skyline Releases Women's Basketball Report #10

- Blakney named Player of the Week -


Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the tenth Women's Basketball report for the 2009-10 season this afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Senior guard Kimberly Blakney (Brooklyn, N.Y./Benjamin Banneker) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week for the fourth consecutive week. Farmingdale State College went 4-0 last week to improve to a perfect 17-0 on the season. Blakney, the nation’s leader in both scoring and steals, averaged 26.0 points, 10.8 rebounds, 8.0 steals and 3.0 assists in just under 29 minutes per game. Blakney recorded her third career triple-double with 27 points, 15 rebounds and 10 steals on the road against St. Joseph’s. She also scored 30 points in a win over Sage.
