Skyline Releases Women's Basketball Report #14

- Blakney named to Honor Roll -

Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the fourteenth Women's Basketball report for the 2009-10 season on Monday, February 22nd, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Senior guard Kimberly Blakney (Brooklyn, N.Y./Benjamin Banneker) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll. She scored 31 points, had 18 rebounds and seven steals in the home win over Purchase. She eclipsed the 2,000 career point mark in the victory, becoming the first basketball player in Farmingdale State history to score 2,000 points. Blakney added 19 points and 11 boards in the game against Mount Saint Mary. She averaged 25.0 points, 14.5 rebounds and 5.5 steals in a 1-1 week for the Rams.
