Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's basketball team returns for the 2010-11 campaign to defend their first-ever Conference Championship. Sophomore guard Jeanette Zubizaretta (Calhoun H.S.) will play a big part this season as the teams' top three-point shooter (.300), after finishing second on the team behind Blakney last year. Junior guard Shemique Hooks (Westbury H.S.) will see more court time, as well as last year's mid-season additions, junior guard Kayla Koch (Kings Park H.S.) and sophomore guard Nikita Green (Roosevelt H.S.). Junior forward Natasha Smalls (St. Michael Academy), a transfer from Monroe C.C., will add some size in the middle, standing at 6'1".
