The Rams fell to the Hofstra Club team 18-6 in the inaugural women’s lacrosse game for Farmingdale State at Hofstra University in the James M. Shuart Stadium. Junior Natalie Budinich (Commack, NY/Commack) led the Rams attack, scoring the first goal and adding four more.

Freshman Tina Tomasello (Melville, NY/Hills East) scored one goal for Farmingdale, assisted by freshman Melissa Rudy (Dix Hills, NY/Hills East). Rookie goalkeeper Andrea McIntyre (Mount Sinai, NY/Mount Sinai) made 14 saves for the Rams.

Farmingdale will return to action until Wednesday, April 6th when they host Briarcliffe College in a 3:30 p.m. game.
