Harford Comm. College 14

Farmingdale State 8

Although finishing behind in a 14-8 game to Harford Community College in Bel Air, MD on Saturday afternoon, the Rams women’s lacrosse team worked together for their finest performance of the season. “They really worked well together this game, moving the ball up the field successfully and hustling to every ball. Although we didn’t come away with a win, I’m really proud of them. We have a lot of girls who have never played before this year, and they’ve come a long way. I’m looking forward to our next game” said head coach Christie Ruppert.

Freshman Andrea McIntyre (Mount Sinai, NY/Mount Sinai) had an outstanding game in net with a total of 28 saves. Natalie Budinich (Commack, NY/Commack) led the attack with five goals, while the defense was led by Jenn Ryan (Farmingdale, NY/Farmingdale) and Patricia Smirniotis (Deer Park, NY/Deer Park). Daniella Caroleo (North Babylon, NY/North Babylon) had one goal and one assist for the Rams.

Farmingdale is staying in Annapolis, MD tonight before tomorrows game against Anne Arundel Community College, who is ranked #2 in the nation for junior colleges.
