Farmingdale, NY The Farmingdale State women's lacrosse team fell to 0-2, 0-1 in the Skyline with a 19-4 loss today against Stevens (1-4, 1-0 Skyline) in Farmingdale, NY. Freshman midfielder Erinn Hopkins (Monrovia, MD/Urbana) scored six goals for the visiting Ducks.

Sophomore attacker Liz Mather (Chagrin Falls, OH/Chagrin Falls) finished with three goals for Stevens, while senior attacker Mary Schurgot (Barnegat, NJ/Southern Reg.) and senior midfielder Melissa Scott (Barnegat, NJ/Southern Reg.) had two goals each.

Sophomore goalkeeper Janine Forman (N. Massapequa, NY/Plainedge) stopped 17 shots in goal for the Rams. Sophomore attacker Lisa Gagliardo (Dix Hills, NY/Holy Trinity) started the scoring for Farmingdale with 13 minutes left in the first period, scoring on a free position shot. Junior attacker Natalie Budinich (East Northport, NY/Commack) finished with two goals, assisted by freshman midfielder Sam Bidermann (Merrick, NY/Mepham) and freshman attacker Jessica Kramer (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst). The fourth goal for Farmingdale was scored by freshman attacker Theresa Rokee (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst) with 7:34 left in the game, assisted by Kramer for her second assist of the game.

The Rams now travel to play the Maritime Club team on Tuesday, March 28th in Throggs Neck, NY at 7:00pm.
