Jennifer Jung Named to Skyline Player of the Week Honor Roll
Apr 3, 2007

Farmingdale State freshman midfielder Jennifer Jung (New Hyde Park, N.Y./Herricks) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll for women's lacrosse on Monday, April 2nd. Jung tallied eight goals in the Rams 1-1 week and single-handedly brought the Rams alive in the win over St. Thomas Aquinas. With the Rams trailing 8-3 at the half, Jung turned on the gears and scored 5-of-her six goals in the second half, including the game-winner with 2:36 remaining in the game to put her team up 12-11. She then added two goals in the loss to Mount Saint Vincent, along with two draw controls. She now has 17 goals for the season in 4 games played.

The Skyline Conference Weekly Reports for all spring sports are announced by the Conference on Mondays. Reports (including players of the week and conference statistics) are available to view on the Skyline website at www.skylineconference.org.
