Forman Doing Well in Australia Lacrosse Championship
Jul 13, 2007

Senior goalkeeper Janine Forman (North Massapequa, N.Y./Plainedge) is playing on the USA Blue team for USA Athletes International Women's Lacrosse in Australia for the next couple of weeks.

Her team won the first game against USA Red 23-10, followed by a loss to South Australia 24-9. In the third game, Forman was named the MVP of the game despite a 10-5 loss to the U19 team, but played a terrific defensive game. She played 1 1/2 periods of play, making terrific clearing passes and a huge amount of saves. After the game, the Blue team went to surfing lessons and fish & chips on Manly Beach and they are having a great time!
