Rams Down at Montclair in Conference Opener 

Montclair State - 19, Farmingdale State - 4


Montclair, N.J. - Sophomore midfielder Jamie Hudacko (Montville, N.J. / Montville) notched four goals and two assists as Farmingdale State women's lacrosse (2-3, 0-1) fell at Montclair State, 19-4, in tonight's Skyline conference opener in Montclair, New Jersey.

Sophomore Lauren Adams (Jackson, N.J. / Jackson Memorial), senior Bethany Blaine (Moorestown, N.J. / Moorestown), and Kayla Henderson (Landing, N.J. / Roxbury) each contributed three goals apiece as the Red Hawks improved to 2-4, 1-0 in the Skyline.

Freshmen midfielders Alecia Fuschetto (Melville, N.Y. / Hills East) and Justine Rothar (Levittown, N.Y. / Divison Ave.) each scored two goals for the Rams, while freshman midfielder Jaclyn Messina (Smithtown, N.Y. / Smithtown) had five draw controls.

Junior Marykate DiBenedetto (Cinnaminson, N.J. / Cinnaminson) contributed four assists and four groundballs and midfielder Jennifer Tanis (Oak Ridge, N.J. / Jefferson Twp) had five assists.

Freshman goalkeeper Talia Katz (Lower Merion, Pa. / Lower Merion) finished with four saves for the Red Hawks, while Farmingdale State senior goalkeeper Janine Forman (North Massapequa, N.Y. / Plainedge) made 14 saves.

The Rams will return to action with an overnight trip on Friday for a game on Saturday, April 5th against York (Pa.) at 10:00 a.m.
