Stephanie graduated from Sachem North in 2005, where she played four years of lacrosse and was named a Scholar-Athlete. She was also a member of the National Zenith Honor Society. She spent one year at St. Joseph's College before transferring to Farmingdale State in the Fall of 2006 for the Nursing program and to play lacrosse. Steph is the daughter of Diana and Steve Phelan.
