Shannon graduated in 2008 from North Babylon High School, where she was a Scholar Athlete. Shannon was All-League in both Track and Lacrosse, as well as receiving the Gold Key award, being named the Physical Education Student of the Year.
She is also a member of Farmingdale State's 2008 Skyline Championship Women's Soccer Team.
