JJ graduated from Herricks High School in 2006, where she was named All-Conference in both her junior and senior years and the Team MVP in her senior year. She is also a member of Farmingdale State's 2007 and 2008 Skyline Conference Championship women's soccer team.

Freshman year...Team Captain. She finished 3rd on the team in
scoring with 38 goals and 12 assists. She picked up 47 ground
