Rams Fall against Manhattanville in Conference Action

Farmingdale State (1-2-1, 1-1 Skyline) fell 2-1 today in women?s soccer action against visiting Manhattanville College (2-6, 1-0 Skyline). Kate Hochman (Brooklyn, NY) scored both goals for the Valiants, first at 62:04, assisted by Brianne Despuches (Farmingville, NY) and the unassisted game-winner came eight minutes later.

Sophomore Angela Barea (Levittown, NY/Island Trees) gave the Rams a 1-0 lead early in the second, with the assist by Liz Liguori (Levittown, NY/Island Trees).

Manhattanville goalie Michele Ribeiro (West Hartford, CT) made 11 saves for the victory, including two key saves with 1:30 remaining to keep the Valiants ahead.

The Rams host Centenary College on Saturday, September 24th for another Skyline Conference game, starting at Noon.
