Ragazzi Scores Two Against Farmingdale

Jessica Ragazzi (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford) scored two goals for St. Josephs College (6-5, 2-1 Skyline) in a 3-1 womens soccer conference win against Farmingdale State on Saturday afternoon in Farmingdale, NY.

Ragazzi opened up the scoring at 17:06 for St. Josephs, giving the Golden Eagles a 1-0 lead at the half. Farmingdales Angela Barea (Levittown, NY/Island Trees) evened the score at the 64-minute mark on a corner kick from Natalie Budinich (Commack, NY/Commack). Courtney Caden (Setauket Ward, NY/Melville) would score the game-winner just six minutes later, with the assist from Ragazzi. Ragazzi would then add the insurance goal for the Golden Eagles at 74:55.

Katie Schnitzenbaumer (Center Moriches, NY/St. John the Baptist) got the win in goal for St. Josephs making one save. Pam Baione (Farmingdale, NY/Plainedge) made 10 saves in defeat for Farmingdale State.

The Rams travel to the College of Staten Island on Sunday, October 2nd for a non-conference game at Noon.
