Women's Soccer Rolls to Conference Victory

Farmingdale, NY - Freshman forward Christina Cascio (Kings Park, NY/Kings Park) netted a hat trick in the first ten minutes of play as the Rams (6-6-2, 2-3 Skyline) rolled to a 10-0 victory over visiting Maritime College (0-9, 0-6) on Saturday afternoon in Farmingdale, NY.

Rams junior defender Elizabeth Essig (West Babylon, NY/West Babylon) registered one goal and two assists in the first half, while freshman midfielder Tricia Pickford (Massapequa Park, NY/Massapequa) scored a goal and an assist.

Freshman forward/goalkeeper Janelle Reif (New Hyde Park, NY/Herricks) notched her first career goal on a free kick, assisted by freshman midfielder Julia Benitez (West Hempstead, NY/West Hempstead).

Freshman forward Renee Schondebare (Selden, NY/Newfield) notched two goals in the second half, while sophomore forward Jean Essig (West Babylon, NY/West Babylon) and senior midfielder Nicole Argent (Livingston Manor, NY/Livingston Manor) each netted one goal.

The Rams will travel to New Jersey City in Jersey City, NJ on Wednesday, October 18th for a non-conference game at 3:00pm.
