Lady Rams Pull Above .500 with Win at Maritime

Farmingdale State scored their first goal at the 7:56 mark on a breakaway by freshman Jessica Graziano (Levittown, NY/Division Ave). Maritime answered back with a header by Carroll off of a direct kick from junior Danielle Centeno (Mastic Beach, NY/William Floyd) to tie the game. Farmingdale followed with a couple of quick goals and increased their lead to 6-1 at the half.

Senior goalkeeper Kim DiGiulio (Massapequa, NY/Amityville) finished the day with 16 saves for Maritime, while senior goalkeeper Pam Baione (Farmingdale, NY/Plainedge) had one save for the Rams.

Freshman Jean Essig (West Babylon, NY/West Babylon) and sophomore April Mino (Huntington, NY/Walt Whitman) led the way for Farmingdale with two goals a piece.

The Rams are back in action this weekend in a Skyline Soccer Doubleheader on Saturday starting at Noon against St. Joseph's.
