Cerverizzo Sets School Record in Conference Win

New York, N.Y. - Farmingdale State freshman forward Katrina Cerverizzo (Center Moriches, N.Y./Center Moriches) set a school record with five goals in the Rams first conference game of the season against Yeshiva (. Farmingdale came away with a 12-0 shutout victory to improve to 2-2, 1-0 in the Skyline.

Cerverizzo opened the scoring in the 15th minute of play with the eventual game-winner, her second game-winning goal of the season, before teammates junior Jennifer Jung, Anna-Marie Rivera, Kelly LaRose each added goals in the first for a 4-0 lead at halftime. Freshman forward RoseMarie Petrofsky scored just 17 seconds into the second half, before Cerverizzo scored four of the Rams next seven goals, to lead her team to the 12-0 win.

The Rams will travel to Madison, N.J. to face off against FDU-Florham on Tuesday, September 9th at 7:00 p.m.
