Katrina is a 2008 graduate of Center Moriches High School, where she was an All-State player during her junior and senior seasons, as well as a Scholar Athlete.

Freshman year...Member of the Skyline Championship team in 2008. Named Second Team All-Skyline after finishing 4th in the Conference in scoring with 14 goals. Led the team in goals (14) and points (30)

She is the daughter of John and Andrea Cerverizzo.
