Skyline Releases Women's Soccer Report #9

- Christina Merrill named Player of the Week

Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the ninth Women's Soccer report for the 2009 season this afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Freshman forward Christina Merrill (Levittown, N.Y./Island Trees) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week for women's soccer. Merrill helped Farmingdale State clinch the top seed in the Skyline Conference tournament after a 3-0 week. She scored the game-winning goal en route to Farmingdale's 2-0 win at Sage. Merrill assisted both goals in the 2-0 win at Mount Saint Mary and added two more assists in the home win over Mount Saint Vincent.
