Rams Blank Sage; Advance to Skyline Finals

#1 Farmingdale State - 2, #4 Sage - 0

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The top-seeded Farmingdale State women's soccer team hosted #4 Sage in the Skyline Conference Semifinals this afternoon and earned a 2-0 victory. The Rams will now play host to #2 Mount Saint Mary in the Finals on Saturday.

FSC (10-8-3) tallied the games first goal in the 15th minute on an unassisted score from senior defender Alexandria Tudisco (Massapequa, N.Y.). With only 1:46 remaining before the break, junior forward Erika Anzalone (North Bellmore, N.Y.) scored off a rebound in front of the net to give the Rams a 2-0 lead. Farmingdale State took 13 first half shots and held the Gators (12-8) to only one attempt as they went into halftime leading, 2-0.

In a scoreless second half, FSC held Sage to one shot, which was not on goal.

The Rams, who are in search of their ninth conference title in the last 10 years, will host #2 Mount Saint Mary on Saturday.
