Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's soccer team is ranked #22 in the Nation in the most recent United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Poll, which was released earlier today. This is the first time in program history that the Rams have entered the Top-25 rankings.
FSC currently holds a 14-3-2 record and are a perfect 8-0 in Skyline Conference action. Farmingdale State is 1-1 on the year versus teams currently ranked in the Top-25. On October 6th, the Rams fell, 1-0, in overtime at #3 and defending National Champion Williams but rebounded the next day with a 1-0 home victory over #19 Swarthmore. Last week FSC and NYU ended in a 0-0 double overtime tie in a matchup of Regionally Ranked teams. The Farmingdale State women's soccer team currently sits in the sixth position in the NCAA East Region Poll.
The Rams will close out the regular season tomorrow when they play host to Mount Saint Mary College. The winner of that game will claim the #1 seed and home field advantage for the Skyline Conference Playoffs.
