Women's Tennis to Kick Off Skyline Playoffs

- Rams to Face #3 St. Joseph's -


Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team will kick off the Fall season Skyline Playoffs tonight against St. Joseph's. The Rams have been seeded 6th for the Tournament and will face the third-seeded Golden Eagles at St. John the Baptist High School in West Islip, N.Y. at 6:00 p.m.

Farmingdale enters tonight's match with a 3-5 Skyline record, while St. Joseph's holds a 6-2 record and was ranked #3 by virtue of a tie-breaker with Bard and Sage.

During the regular season, the Rams fell to St. Joe's, 7-2, but two doubles matches were decided by just two points, along with three very close singles matches. Tonight's playoff match should be exciting under the lights. GO RAMS!!!

6. Farmingdale State (3-5)

Bard earns tie-breaker for #2 seed based upon individual matches won vs. St. Joseph’s and Sage (11). St. Joseph’s (9) is the #3 seed and Sage (7) is the #4 seed.

#6 Farmingdale State at #3 St. Joseph’s
#5 Purchase at #4 Sage

Semifinals (Saturday):
#4/#5 winner at #1 Mount Saint Mary
#3/#6 winner at #2 Bard
