Rachael is a 2009 graduate of Valley Stream South High School, where she was a Coaches Award winner and a National Honor Society member. She is the daughter of Marianne and Michael Tomasulo.

Senior year...Held a 4-9 record, splitting time between fifth and sixth singles.

Junior year...Helped the Rams earn the #3 seed in the Skyline Conference playoffs and reach the semifinal round.
