Rams Defeat Yeshiva; Advance to Skyline Finals

#1 Farmingdale State - 5, #4 Yeshiva - 0

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team defeated Yeshiva, 5-0, in the Skyline Conference Semifinals this evening in Farmingdale, N.Y. The Rams have won 14 straight matches and advance to the Skyline Finals.

At first doubles, Farmingdale State's (15-1) Kayla Reidy (Sayville, N.Y.) and Anastasia Hoffman (North Massapequa, N.Y.) recorded an 8-0 shutout victory. In the second slot, the FSC pairing of Nicole Tzanetos (Merrick, N.Y.) and Nicole Ferguson (Shirley, N.Y.) notched an 8-1 win, while Rosa Lettieri (West Islip, N.Y.) and Cameren Jackson (Copiague, N.Y.) also won by a score of 8-1 in the third position.

Lettieri and Ferguson each won 6-0, 6-0 in the second and fifth singles positions, respectively. The other four singles matches went unfinished as the Rams earned the 5-0 victory.

Farmingdale State will host the winner of #2 St. Joseph's-LI/#3 Mount Saint Mary in the Skyline Conference Finals on Saturday.
