Troy, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's outdoor track team finished in a tie for 37th place out of 62 teams, while the women's team placed 50th of 54 competing schools at the ECAC Championships held at RPI in Troy, N.Y.

Freshman Ieshawn Johnson (Queens, N.Y.) earned a second place finish in the discus with a toss of 50.07m (164'3"). Junior Mike Jang (Lynbrook, N.Y.) placed 18th in the hammer throw after recording a distance of 46.78m (153' 6"). The 4x100m relay team of Daquan Grant, Nick Bellacosa, Joseph Papa and Frederick Harris finished in 26th place with a time of 43.84.

The women's team was led by junior Kathleen Clermont (Uniondale, N.Y.) who took seventh place in the 100m with a time of 12.52 and finished 16th out of 39 in the 200m (25.90). Junior Victoria Mandat (West Babylon, N.Y.) placed 22nd after finishing the 100m hurdles in 15.88 and teamed with Katherine Hoskins, Faustine Chukwuezi and Clermont for a 13th place finish in the 4x100m relay. Chukwuezi earned an 11th place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 11.08m (36' 4.25").
