In Saturdays WIAC Play Date, host Farmingdale State went 1-1 with a loss to St. Joe’s and a win over St. Elizabeth’s. The Rams record now stands at 6-4, 2-1 Skyline, 3-1 WIAC. Farmingdale freshman Melissa Rudy (Dix Hills, NY) tallied 9 kills, 2 solo blocks and 14 digs in the loss against St. Joseph’s. Gina Moscato (Hicksville, NY) finished with 22 kills and 2 solo blocks in game two against St. Elizabeth’s.

St. Joseph’s improved to 5-6, 3-1 Skyline, 2-2 WIAC as they were undefeated today in matches with Farmingdale and Rutgers-Camden. Standouts in the Farmingdale game were Melissa Willi (Jamesport, NY), Christine Bennett (Bellmore, NY) and Sara Connelly (Shirley, NY). Against Rutgers-Camden, St. Joe’s was led by Bennett, Kelly O’Shaughnessy (Jackson Heights, NY) and Andrea Chibbaro (Brookhaven, NY).

The College of Saint Elizabeth ended the day with a win over Rutgers-Camden and a loss to Farmingdale State.

Rutgers-Camden dropped to 0-9, 0-4 WIAC today although proving themselves in games against St. Joe’s and St. Elizabeth’s. Leaders for Rutgers were Kristina Matthews (Sewell, NJ) and Tasheena Peel (Bronx, NY).
