Farmingdale State defeated Staten Island tonight with scores of 30-15, 30-8, 30-14. The Rams improved to 7-5 overall, while the Dolphins fell to 2-7. Freshman middle hitter Sherice Spencer (Hempstead, NY/St. Dominic) played well for the Rams with 6 kills, 2 aces and 1 assist. Freshman setter Megan Cranmer (Hicksville, NY/Hicksville) totaled 23 assists and 4 aces.

Farmingdale has a week off and will play next Tuesday, October 5th at the College of Mount Saint Vincent at 7pm.
