The Farmingdale State women?s volleyball team defeated City Tech, 30-20, 30-14, 30-18 in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday night, at the Klitgord Center in Brooklyn, NY. The visiting Rams (2-4) were led by junior outside hitter Gina Moscato (Hicksville, NY/Hicksville) with 10 kills and four digs, while sophomore outside hitter Melissa Rudy (Dix Hills, NY/Hills East) tallied eight kills, four service aces and four digs over two games. Freshman setter Jenna Guerriero (Manorville, NY/Eastport-Southmanor) led Farmingdale with 12 assists.

Senior setter Dorothy Junio (Jamaica/Jamaica, NY) led the Yellow Jackets with ten assists and eight digs, while classmate Kerene Reeves (Wingate/Bronx, NY) had five kills and nine digs in the loss.

The Rams will travel to New Paltz, NY this weekend, September 16-17, for the New Paltz Invitational.
