Rams Defeat Maritime 3-0

Throggs Neck, NY - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team improved to 8-1, 1-0 Skyline with a 3-0 win over Maritime College (1-6, 0-4) in Throggs Neck, NY on Wednesday evening. The Rams won by scores of 30-12, 30-9, 30-14 in their first conference game of the season.

Senior outside hitter Gina Moscato (Hicksville, NY/Hicksville) led the Rams with six kills and seven digs over three games. Sophomore middle blocker Cathryn McLean (Northport, NY/Northport) finished with seven kills, eight service aces and two blocks. Senior outside hitter Melissa Rudy (Dix Hills, NY/Hills East) tallied up six kills and five digs.

Farmingdale State will now host their first home game against Merchant Marine on Thursday, September 21st at 7:00pm.
