FDU Slips Past Rams in Five Game Match

Farmingdale, NY - Farmingdale fell to FDU-Florham 3-2 today in a non-conference volleyball match in Farmingdale, NY. FDU took a two game lead with two 30-26 wins, before the Rams responded with a 30-27 and 30-25 win to tie it 2-2 and force a fifth and deciding game. FDU won the final game 15-11.

For Farmingdale, sophomore middle blocker Cathryn McLean (Freeport, NY/Northport) tallied up 19 kills, 29 digs and eight blocks. Senior setter Falon Taddeo (Oceanside, NY/Oceanside) finished with 46 assists and 17 digs. Senior outside hitter Gina Moscato (Hicksville, NY/Hicksville) had 12 kills and 28 digs.

The Rams will host Mount Saint Mary College on Wednesday, October 18th at 7:00pm.
