Rams Defeat Purchase; Remain Perfect in Skyline

Farmingdale State - 3, Purchase - 0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-22)

Purchase, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team improved to 2-0 in the Skyline Conference after last night's 3-0 road win at Purchase College.

After winning the first set 25-19, the Rams posted 25-12 and 25-22 victories en route to the shutout win.

Farmingdale State (3-16) was led by junior outside Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) who had a game-high 11 kills as well as six digs and four service aces. Freshman Samantha Morra (West Babylon, N.Y.) and sophomore Francesca Calderon (Wheatley Heights, N.Y.) each tallied 11 digs, while sophomore setter Megan Pisciotta (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) recorded 17 assists for the Rams.

Farmingdale State next will face CCNY at Stevens on Friday, September 27th at 4:00 p.m.
