Rams Notch Non-Conference Win at York (NY)

Farmingdale State - 3, York (NY) - 0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-16)

Jamaica, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team traveled to York (NY) for a non-conference match on Friday evening and won, 3-0, in straight sets. The Rams improved to 13-6 on the year after recording their seventh straight victory.

FSC was led by freshman setter Julia Hande (Islip, N.Y.) who tallied a game-high 10 kills, 11 assists, eight digs and five service aces. Sophomore outside Annie Cosgrave (Bay Shore, N.Y.) had five kills, while freshman opposite Kelsey Voiklis (Commack, N.Y.) added four kills. Sophomore setter Lauren Anne Strezenec (Merrick, N.Y.) finished the evening with a game-high 12 assists.

York's (2-19) Tiandra Jones recorded team-high's in both kills (7) and digs (9).

The Rams will face Sarah Lawrence on Saturday, October 22nd at 3:00 p.m.
