Ramapo Earns 19th Straight Win with Victory Over FSC

Ramapo - 3, Farmingdale State - 0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-18)

Mahwah, N.J. - The Ramapo College women's volleyball team recorded their 19th straight win after last night's 3-0 victory over Farmingdale State in Mahwah, N.J. The Roadrunners improved to 23-3 on the year, while the Rams fell to 15-7.

FSC was led by freshman setter Julia Hande (Islip, N.Y.) who tallied a team-high 12 kills and added eight assists. Sophomore outside Annie Cosgrave (Bay Shore, N.Y.) pitched in with six kills, while sophomore setter Lauren Anne Strezenec (Merrick, N.Y.) had a team-high 15 assists and 12 digs. Junior defensive specialist Stephanie Etersque (Deer Park, N.Y.) led the Rams with 14 digs in the loss.

Junior outside Larysa Iwaskiw (Westwood, N.J.) had a match-high 18 kills for the Roadrunners.

Farmingdale State next will close out the regular season with a pair of Skyline matches at Purchase on Saturday. The Rams will face Purchase at 3:00 p.m. and Mount Saint Vincent at 5:00 p.m.
