Head Coach: Daniela Georgieva (2nd season)

Coach Georgieva enters her second season as head coach at Farmingdale State College. Georgieva brings a wealth of experience to her coaching position. Most recently she was the head men's and women's cross country coach at SUNY Purchase and the top assistant at Division II Dowling College. Prior to that, Georgieva enjoyed stints and Central Methodist University as well as the University of Missouri.

Coach Georgieva earned a Bachelor of Physical Education from the National Sport Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1996. She attained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Methodist University, where she graduated in 2005.

"I am so thankful to have such a great mentor and predecessor as Mr. Minkoff who built this excellent cross country tradition at Farmingdale State with a lot of hard work and knowledge. I will do my best to keep and continue his tradition. I care about my athletes and I will do everything for them to succeed in school, on the field and in life. My mission is to see how our athletes are dedicated, hard working, ambitious and are determined to build not only their skills but also their characters."

Assistant Coach: Caryl Senn-Griffiths

Coach Senn has been a volunteer coach at Farmingdale State from 1986 - present. She is a former USA and Olympic Track Coach of the USA Amputee Team where she coached for 15 years. International competitions she took part in include, Barcelona, Spain; the Atlanta Olympic Games; the World Championships in Berlin, Germany; the Pan American Games in Mexico City, Mexico; and the Paralympic Revival in Duderstadt, Germany.

As a track runner, she was a Two-Time All-American in the Heptathlon at Ithaca College. She is a former ECAC Champion and Record holder in the Heptathlon and Pentathlon while she attended Ithaca. She is a 14-Time Empire State Games Champion in the Heptathlon. She is a Master's World Record holder in the Pentathlon and 4x400 Relay, as well as a Master's American Record holder in the Heptathlon.

Coach Senn has been a Physical Therapist and Director of Sports Medicine at a facility in Massapequa for the past 16 years. She was recently inducted into the Massapequa / Berner High School Hall of Fame for career and athletic achievements.

Assistant Coach: Reggie Routier

Reggie Routier returns to Farmingdale State to start his coaching career after earning his Masters degree in Sports Management at Cortland State University. While competing at Farmingdale State, he won the ECAC Championships and CTC Championship in the triple jump. Routier qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championships three times, finishing 12th indoors in 2007.

Reggie will be helping with a successful jumps program which has qualified at least one jumper for the National Championships every season each of the last four years.

While at Farmingdale State College, he earned the Student-Athlete Chancellors Award and currently holds the school record in the triple jump.
