Hoboken, N.J. - Junior Kyle Havas (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) shot a two-over par 74 earning him the individual medalist at the Stevens Invitational held this Friday, March 30th at Neshanic Valley Golf Course. Havas' 74 led Farmingdale State to a 2nd place team finish, as FDU-Florham defeated the Rams by seven strokes. Senior Ryan Williams (Westbury, N.Y./Clarke) tied for 5th place individually after shooting a round of 80.

Farmingdale State now travels to Pine Ridge Country Club in Mount Sinai, N.Y. on April 5th-6th to play in the Long Island Intercollegiate Championship, a two-day event hosted by St. Joseph's College. The Tournament will feature Nassau CC, Suffolk CC, Adelphi, Dowling, St. Joe's and Farmingdale State.
