Schwartz and McLaughlin Lead Rams to Victory
Bethpage State Park - Red Course - Par 70 - 6,800 Yards
Farmingdale, N.Y. - Senior's Andrew Schwartz
and Jim McLaughlin of Farmingdale State were co-medalists at the
FSC Skyline Invitational after posting four-over par rounds of 74.
Schwartz was seven-over par through 10 holes, before two birdies
and an eagle three on the par 5 16th hole. McLaughlin, in his last
two tournaments, has shot rounds of 72 and 74.
Farmingdale State were the team champions with a score of 301.
St. Joseph's Collge finished in second place, 17 strokes behind the
Rams.
Farmingdale's Masa Maruyama (76), Matt Livolsi (77) and Chris
Arnold (78) along with St. Joseph's Matt Ranum (78) round out the
top five.
The Rams have a week off before traveling to Eisenhower Park -
Red Course on October 7th, site of the Skyline Conference
Championship, for the Nassau Community College Invitational.
