Biography

Brandon is a 2014 graduate of Riverdale Baptist High School, where he was named to the First Team for both All-Gazette and All-County. Brandon also won the NACA Tournament in Tennessee. He is son of Steve and Kathy Ernest.

Senior year...Played in 36 games with 28 starts...Led the team in on-base percentage (.423), walks (17) and stolen bases (13), ranked second in runs scored (16), third in fielding percentage (.984) and fourth in batting average (.312), hits (29) and doubles (1)...Led the conference and ranked sixth in the Nation with 11 sacrifice bunts...Pitched four innings on the mound and did not allow an earned run.

Junior year...Appeared in 25 games with 12 starts...Ranked second on the team with five stolen bases...Totaled 10 hits, nine runs and six walks at the plate...Recorded one win in four relief appearances on the mound.

Sophomore year...Played in 24 games with 23 starts...Led the team in RBI's (18), was tied for third in doubles (4), was fourth with a .413 on-base percentage and tied for fifth in runs (13) and walks (8).

Freshman year...Played in 23 games with eight starts...Scored nine runs and held a .950 fielding percentage.
