Biography

Michelle is a 2011 graduate of Sewanhaka High School, where she was a 2-time All-County softball player and named All-County for field hockey. Michelle also earned All-Conference and All-Division honors for softball. She is the daughter of Barbara and Frank Mongiello.

Senior year...Named Skyline Player of the Year, First Team NFCA All-Northeast Region, Capital One Academic All-American First Team (3.85 GPA), Captial One Academic All-District First Team, All-Skyline Sportsmanship Team...Finished with a team-leading and career-high .468 batting average, along with team-highs of 52 hits, 19 doubles, 36 RBI's over 36 games played and 111 at-bats...Leaves FSC as All-Time doubles leader (59), 3rd most Hits (181) and 4th most RBI's (115).

Junior year...Named First Team All-Skyline, Second Team All-ECAC...Started all 36 games...Batted .358 with 43 hits, 16 doubles and a team-high 33 RBI...Recorded 11 assists and a .944 fielding percentage from her outfield position...Posted 3rd most doubles in a season at FSC with 16.

Sophomore year...Named First Team All-Skyline...Started every games with 35 starts in centerfield and six at first base...Finished 2nd on the team in at-bats, RBI's, while finishing 3rd for runs, doubles, triples, total bases and walks...In the conference, ranked 2nd for doubles, 3rd for at-bats, 4th for RBI's, 10th for hits...Batted 3rd in the lineup with a .301 average and 11 multiple hit games.

Freshman year...Earned Second Team All-Skyline honors...Led the team in batting (.446), hits (45), doubles (13) and slugging percentage (.594)...Tallied 20 runs scored and 17 RBI...Posted the 3rd highest batting average in the FSC record book.
