Taylor is a 2011 graduate of Island Trees High School, where she received All-Conference honors in 2009 and was named All-County in both her junior and senior seasons. Taylor is the daughter of Barbara and Robert Tedeschi.
Senior year...Finished with a 10-10 record in 23 appearances...Led the Skyline Conference with 10 wins, was 2nd for innings pitched, 8th for ERA and 10th for strikeouts...Leaves FSC at #3 All-Time for wins (39), appearances (79), innings pitched (433) and strikeouts looking (61).
Junior year...Finished with a 9-8 record in 16 starts, posting a 3.72 ERA...Struck out 37 batters in 101.2 innings pitched...In the Skyline, ranked 6th most innings pitched and 7th most wins.
Sophomore year...Finished with a 10-7 record in 18 starts with a 3.63 ERA and three shutouts...Struck out 65 batters in 119.2 innings pitched...Moved to #3 All-Time at FSC for career wins with 20.
Freshman year...Named the Skyline Tournament MVP... Started 16 games and held a 10-5 record with 10 complete games and two shutouts...Pitched a team-leading 97.1 innings with 62 strikeouts.
